NECESSARY OBJECTS: LAUNCH OF COLLECTION PARTICULIÈRE

A new French design label making their debut in Paris

A love of everyday objects and a desire to restore their nobility is the foundation of the newly launched brand Collection Particulière, established by Jérôme Aumont. Elegant materials define each piece – marble, leather, wood, ceramic and brass. For its very first collection, the French design brand solicited influential designers such as Dan Yeffet and Samuel Accoceberry for a series of seven designs that debuted this week at the Christophe Delcourt showroom in Paris.

Christophe Delcourt himself contributed to the collection with a series of three wood and leather stools: Roi, Fou and Mat.

Dan Yeffet‘s signature marble graces Collection Particulière in the form of Peacock, a candleholder with a marble base and a brass disk that softly reflects the candlelight. He also designed a neo-industrial, marble and brass fruit bowl called Embadded and a table called Sumo, whose stability depends on the marble platform’s natural inertia.

Rough is a powerful and sleek table from Samuel Accoceberry. It challenges typical ideals of symmetry and balance with its free organic form and centrally placed legs.

Grégoire de Lafforest‘s Balka desk also joins the collection as well as an elegant multipurpose object called Aski from French designer Laurent Nicolas.

The entire collection will be on display at the Christophe Delcourt showroom until Friday, September 12th, so if you’re traipsing about during Paris Design Week, be sure to check it out!
