Modular furniture that will grow with your kids

Polish designer Wiktoria Lenart graduated barely a year ago and has since plunged headfirst into the professional world of design. Most recently, she created the SPOT series for VOX. Although designed specifically for little ones, we wouldn’t mind having an adult-sized version! The design is clean, functional and, most importantly, modular, so the furniture can grow and change with the child.

Slim and light, SPOT’s blond wood and subdued colors create a neutral pallet that is easily accessorized. The collection includes a lofted bed, single bed, a desk, a wardrobe, a dressing table and more that can be mixed and matched.

All of the pieces in the collection include clever storage. The lofted bed comes with integrated drawers and wardrobes that tuck neatly away, while the single bed includes a space-saving drawer underneath. Detachable felt pockets are a useful and decorative accessory that can be hung from the A-frame of the desk or the rolling wardrobe for extra flexible item stashing.

Our personal favorite, the Tipi Bed Trolley can magically transform into an indoor tent by simply using a sheet. It can also be decorated with the hanging felt containers for quick storage or even be wheeled into the living room for a sleepover. Coordinated with the single bed, it is playful enough for small children and sophisticated enough for older ones. Definitely children’s furniture design done right!
