A geometric and graphically inspired reinterpretation of the Persian rug

French designer Samuel Accoceberry reinvents the traditional Persian rugs for Chevalier Edition. Historally, Persian rugs represent the gardens of Persian kings. For the Persy collection, the designer stripped away the intricate patterns to reveal the most basic shapes and forms. Using the symmetrical composition of the carpets, he then inserted an abstract and contemporary landscape that pays tribute to the original ‘carpet-gardens’.
