Warm things from the frozen tundra of Minneapolis
Winter is a long and intense affair in Minneapolis. But it’s also a city with a thriving creative scene. Perhaps the days shut inside contemplating the snowy landscape fosters a certain creativity. Hennepin Made is one such endeavor.
Founded by Joe Limpert and Jackson Schwartz in 2011, the company is completely invested in their products. Glassmakers as well as designers, Schwartz and Limpert are intricately involved in the fabrication process of their products. Four subtle shapes comprise the lights of their Parallel Series, which marries hand blown glass and spun aluminum. The result is simple and refined with lights that work well together but can also stand alone.
