COSIMO DESK BY MARCO ZANUSO JR (MILAN 2014)

Where work becomes easy

The COSIMO Desk designed by Marco Zanuso Jr for Adentro initially popped out at us because of its structure’s smooth material and enticing color options. But quickly we came to notice its thin, delicate form and open leg space. This makes working so much easier. As you sit down to work, nothing seems more irritating than continuously banging your legs up against the desk’s surface because its been built too low.

There’s also the issue of losing your pen over and over again. They say to buy a pack of fifty so you’ll always have enough. Where’d they all go? This desk has two side drawers with a special spot for that pen of yours! Now you’ll just need to be sure to put it back where it belongs.

The COSIMO desk was basically built for your laptop. A slot underneath the center of its top is the perfect width and the right home. Once you’ve finished work for the day, you just pack it up by sliding it into its own personal bed.

This had us exchanging that typical “head nod” you see in the movies, that understanding gesture. We walked around DesignJunction / EDIT, witness to many phenomenal pieces, but kept coming back to certain objects we’d seen. This COSIMO desk stands out, in all its simple glory.
