ARPER’S NEW COLLECTION (MILAN 2014)

The Italian manufacturer to debut three new products at iSaloni

In less than a week, iSaloni will take over Milan, temporarily turning the city into the center of the (design) world. And it goes without saying that Arper will be present. This year, along with Lina Bo Bardi’s Bowl Chair, the Italian design brand will be presenting a three new designs from the Catalan design trio Lievore Altherr Molina.

Zinta is a new modular sofa system that can be used as a single seating arrangement or be expanded to a large-scale seating solution. Available in various lengths and with various cushion options, Zinta can easily adapt to residential settings or public spaces such as restaurants, hotels and offices. The shell is made from wood and the aluminum legs are painted dark gray.

Sculptural and sleek, Colina is a family of armchairs that was originally created to complement the modular sofa system Loop, but has taken on a life of its own. Available in three different sizes, Colina can be upholstered in leather or fabric. The large and small version come with a solid upholstered base, while the medium version is available with three different options: cantilever, sled and 4-legged wooden base.

Finally, Duna 02 is the reinvention of a design that came to life fourteen years ago. Newly available with a plastic shell made from polypropylene allows for a thinner profile and softer edges. Additionally, Duna 02 can be further customized with upholstery in either fabric and leather and a variety of available bases.
