VOLUME TABLE LAMP BY GAMFRATESI FOR LIGHTYEARS

Need more light? Just turn it up!

Continuing our trend of stereo-inspired designs, the idea for Danish-Italian design team GamFratesi‘s Volume table lamp for Lightyears also comes from vintage audio systems. However, Volume mimics the buttons from stereo amplifiers of the 1980s by reappropriating the form and simple gesture of turning a dial. In the instance of the table lamp, the gesture of turning the lampshade increases or decreases the intensity of the LED light.

Made from die-cast aluminum and acrylic, the lamp is equipped with 3 Osram 1W LEDs that emit 360 degrees of light for 50,000 hours or more without maintenance.
