WASTE-LESS LOG CHAIR

Architecture Uncomfortable Workshop

The Waste-less Log Chair by Architecture Uncomfortable Workshop is a convertible garden chair made from reclaimed oak timber logs. Based in Budapest, AUW explores using simple materials to create intriguing furniture. Indeed, there is absolutely nothing fussy about the rough hewn oak and iron hinges used in the chair’s construction, but the chair can be unfolded into a rocking chair or chair with leg rest. And when it’s not in use, it can be folded back into it’s original shape. Now we’re just waiting for someone to confirm that it is also comfortable. Either way, the design is pure recycling genius.
