We are told that if you count the rings on a tree trunk, you can know the tree’s age. In reality, it’s not that simple. However, layers in the natural world are indeed shaped with the passage of time and are equally an indication of time’s passing. Joseph Walsh explores this idea with the Enignum table. The table was created with a truly rare skill and attention to detail that brings out a sensuous and organic beauty in the natural materials. As a result, the table remains close to its origins and seems to be sprouting roots from the floor. We encourage you to watch the video of its creation!
