Lightness and colours in Sklo’s glass products

The double vases of Taper Vessels, the Ring Bowl containers and the imperfect spheres of Float Vessel: three collections of handblown glass presented at Maison & Objet in Paris.

On display at the Maison & Objet Fair in Paris, the new Sklo projects include the Taper Vessels collection, a new bowl in the Ring Bowl collection and two new colour palettes in the Float Vessel series.

With Taper Vessel, the design company proposes a series of vases made of two parts of different colours available in five versions. They are designed with attention to proportions and shapes thanks to the use of moulds used during glass blowing that allow to control their characteristics. The overturned vase can be brought upwards, providing flexibility and always new compositions.

The Ring Bowl collection, composed of blown glass bowls placed on rings of brass, sees the addition of a new piece with the diameter of 41 cm, available in three sizes and colours. In the Float Vessel collection, the first by Sklo, two colour palettes have been added — a cold and a warm one: the series is composed of glass spheres, obtained without using moulds and therefore intentionally imperfect.
