Yen-Hao, Chu combines clean lines and solid wood to design the Muzhi cupboard

Created by Yen-Hao, Chu for Ziihome, Muzhi is a large capacity cupboard that’s designed to perfectly store all your table and kitchenware.

Continuing the furniture brand’s lingshe series, the piece is characterized by its clean, simple lines, and a solid wood aesthetic that references the timeless beauty of chinese furniture.

The cupboard is composed of three parts, which can be disassembled and purchased according to the specific needs of the customer. The upper part of the cupboard is semi-open, and the left area can be used for potted plants. Open on three sides, the space gains sufficient light to let plants grow. The double-layer storage area on the right-hand side can be used as a display area, in which to keep tableware that is not often used.

The middle part of the cupboard is an open space with a spacious surface, which can meet all kinds of needs. It can be used as a sideboard, a small bar counter or a place to keep small and medium-sized household appliances such as a kettle and coffee maker. On the lower section, the partly glazed element of the left-hand drawer let users clearly see what’s stored inside.

The large tray area on the right-hand side of the lower area can be used to place pot covers or common utensils for daily meals. The solid timber handrail is designed to provide a place for clean dish and hand towels. At the bottom right of the lower area is the large utensils area with a depth of 37 cm. The movable layer board can be adjusted according to different needs, and can easily accommodate large household appliances such as soup pots.
