Zaha hadid and nikken sekkei out of the running for new tokyo stadium

After an in-depth presentation video was released last month, it has now been announced that zaha hadid and nikken sekkei are unable to enter the new tokyo stadium competition.

The competition requires capabilities in planning and design, construction and construction supervision, and asks design firms to form a consortium covering all these capabilities. nikken sekkei and zaha hadid architects have not been able to secure a construction company in its consortium and therefore, they are unable to enter the competition.
