World-famous Japanese design studio Nendo designed the Collar cabinets for Quodes. The shape of the cabinet fronts is inspired by the Collar of a traditional Japanese shirt. From a distance these cabinets look slender, well-proportioned or even architectural. If you come closer and especially when you look at their profile, the typical Collar edge becomes visible. A subtle surprise for the eye or in other words a beautiful 2nd layer in the design. A fantastic example of the skill of Nendo, subtly twisting the seemingly normal, a joy for every day.
