REVIGRÉS DISTINGUISHED WITH THE iF DESIGN AWARD 2016

Revigrés was distinguished with the international iF DESIGN AWARD 2016. It is the first Portuguese company in the ceramic wall and floor tiles industry to receive this prize, awarded in the Product category to the Chromatic Collection.

With this award, Revigrés joins known brands like Apple, AUDI, BMW, Canon, LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, among others. The Portuguese companies Sanindusa and Omdesign were also awarded in this year’s edition.

Created in 1953, the iF DESIGN AWARD is organized by the iF International Forum Design GmbH, in Germany, one of the oldest design institutions in the world, and aims to communicate the importance of design for users, for brands and for societies.

The jury, composed of 58 prestigious design professionals, rated projects from 53 countries, according to the following criteria: aesthetics, practicability, execution, innovation, usability / ergonomics, brand fit, safety, environmental impact and target group fit.

This award adds to the international Good Design Award 2015, awarded by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, and the Red Dot Design Award 2015, awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, in Germany. Revigrés also received the international A’Design Award Gold 2014 and was distinguished with the Superbrands 2015 seal for its marketing and communication strategies.

In Portugal, Revigrés received the Five Stars 2015 Prize - a marketing certificate that rewards products and services rated by professionals and consumers - and the Great Marketing and Innovation Prize - Product of the Year 2014.
