REVIGRÉS DISTINGUISHED WITH THE INTERNATIONAL GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2015

Revigrés was distinguished with the international Good Design Award 2015. It was the first Portuguese company in the ceramic wall and floor tiles industry to receive this prize, awarded to the Chromatic Collection in the category of Products/Building Materials.

With this award, Revigrés joins known brands like Apple, Alcatel, Boeing, Coca-Cola, Google, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Nestlé, Nespresso, Samsung, and Siemens.

Created in 1950, the Good Design Award is organized by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies.

According to the organisation, this is a worldwide renowned Design award that aims towards distinguishing contemporary design and companies' bet on innovation.

The jury, composed of prestigious design professionals, experts of leading brands and representatives of design media, rated the products according to design innovation, new technologies, form, materials, construction, concept, function, usability, energy efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

In 2015, products and graphic projects in several business areas were awarded, in 38 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America.

The Chromatic Collection, one of the most complete collections worldwide in full body porcelain - with a palette of 40 colours, 11 formats and 4 finishes - now integrates the Yearbook for Good Design Awards 2015.

This award adds to the international Red Dot Design Award in 2015 won in Germany. Revigrés also received the international A’Design Award Gold 2014 and was distinguished with the Superbrands 2015 seal for its marketing and communication strategies.

In Portugal, Revigrés received the Five Stars 2015 Prize - a marketing certificate that rewards products and services rated by professionals and consumers - and the Great Marketing and Innovation Prize - Product of the Year 2014.
