Refined style and graceful lines for Casa Farnesina with the Taormina taps by Ritmonio.

CASA FARNESINA

The Taormina series of taps by Ritmonio, in its gold finish, was chosen by Arch. Giorgia Dennerlein, of Loto AD Project, to embellish the interior of her latest creation, a magnificent residence in the Farnesina district in Rome, conceived as a luxury "pied dans l'eau".

The intervention reflects the rigor and fluidity of the stylistic signature of the Arch. Dennerlein: the design challenge was to be able to shape a “raw fabric”, responding to the wishes of the owner, an entrepreneur with a great passion for boating.

In the overall project, Taormina is the detail that attests Dennerlein's great attention to quality materials, finishes capable of dictating a new balance between form and functionality: the series revisits classic elements in a contemporary key, with graceful lines. With a clear inspiration from the Sicilian seaside resort envied all over the world for its charm and beauty, Taormina enhances the style of the project and embodies the true expression of Ritmonio's Made in Italy.

The body of the mixer recalls the shape of the characteristic columns of the Ancient Theater of Taormina and its gentle lines refer to the sinuous inlets and waves of the Mediterranean Sea. Refined design also for the poolside tap set, which allows a 360 ° wellness experience.

A multifaceted and versatile solution, in line with the taste of the owners, respectful of history in modernity, suitable for those looking for a style with a contemporary appeal that lasts over time. In addition, the series is part of the water-saving Ritmonio products, characterized by the ECO water flow rate, less than 9 l / m, to raise awareness of a responsible use of environmental resources.

Continuous and circular lines, transparencies and maximum contribution of natural light constitute the design philosophy of the house as a whole, and make the design harmonious and sophisticated. This "shell" soul is also reflected in the ceilings, on which large ceilings treated with silver leaf are carved to reflect the light and emphasize the roundness of the whole project. The living area is characterized by the presence of large glass walls, which favor the seamless transition with the adjacent terrace, for an osmotic conception of indoor-outdoor.

On the walls a wallpaper with a warm texture, which refers to the horizon line of the sea and recalls the streak of shells. The flooring is uniform in all rooms: a beige travertine, which runs through the entire apartment, as if it were a single skin. Underfloor heating and the latest generation home automation system are just two of the many technological features that improve the performance and comfort of the residence.

All the interior accessories have been designed and handcrafted, thanks to a high level of carpentry work: from the furniture to the wardrobes, up to the kitchen and doors, some of which are in glass and retractable, conceived as connecting "diaphragms" between a room and the other one.

Thinking precisely of the small spaces of a boat, Arch. Dennerlein has decided to optimize space: large pills and cabinets act as wings to separate functions and environments.

The quality of the materials, the attention to detail and the tailoring of the work also continue in the bathroom, where the finishes are of absolute value: the dark gray stone embraces the tub, where we find a decorative Greek motif cut into owl nails.
