Sustainable Thinking

By vocation, RODA is attentive toward nature and the relationship between people and the outdoors.

RODA’ commitment to a sustainable path involves the continuous research of materials that respect the environment, in all its forms.

RODA introduces among its materials new cords, belts and fabrics regenerated from recycled production materials through a process that reduces the use of water and chemical additives and emits less carbon dioxide .

100% Made in Italy, belts, cords and fabrics can be matched with all the RODA collections, giving new life to the products.

The new Cork becomes part of RODA materials, 100% natural with unique compactness and texture.

The main feature of this material is its own manufacturing process: the detachement of the bark does not require the felling of the plant. Production offcuts become biomass fuel that provides the cork factory with green energy. Cork is the main material of the new Bush On collection of outdoor planters.

RODA furniture has obtained the important international GREENGUARD GOLD certification., the most rigid programme in terms of criteria for low emissions, that includes special parameters for people’s health. In addition, RODA has obtained the FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) Certification FSC-C155819, for using wood from responsibly managed forests. This gives the company a role in the protection of the ecosystems where teak grows, one of the greatest materials for outdoor furniture. With pride and responsibility, RODA pursues, communicates and shares these choices and pledges.
