AMUNDSEN 133, the general lighting solution for cold storage warehouses in low temperatures

As specialist in technical lighting since 1927 launches Sammode the AMUNDSEN 133 range; a range of impervious tubular LED luminaires designed for refrigerated warehouses (between -0°C and -20°C). Available in 4 Versions (5550lm and 11100lm), this product is equipped with high efficiency LED modules (133lm/W) of the latest generation and drivers especially designed to operate in very low temperatures. Their light output is optimized for operations in low temperatures, allowing to limit the number of luminaires needed to achieve a given illumination and, consequently, to lower the energy consumption associated with lighting. With the reduced number of luminaires, less heat will be produced and further need for refrigeration eliminated. The quick-release fixing brackets combined with the impervious plug, enable a fast and simple plug&play mounting. Also, Sammode conceived special upstand kits in order to respect fire safety requirements.

The Amundsen 133 is available in two versions: “New installation” and “Like for like replacement”. The “new installation versions” are manufactured to give optimum light distribution while reducing the number of luminaires needed compared to traditional installations. This results in lower energy consumption while maintaining the same lighting level and steady illumination. If you do not want to change the layout of your installation in order to optimize the existing one, Sammode offers the “one for one replacement versions”: Designed to fit in every installation and to produce the same lighting level, lowering the energy consumption as well.
