The five-star Hotel ‘Jules Cesar’ stands out by the many services it offers, by the architecture of its building but also by its History. An old Convent of the Carmelites (since 1634) the building still exhibits the holy artefacts that have shaped the character and authenticity of its establishment, including the Chapel of Charity (listed on the National Historical Monument list).
Purchased in 1928 to be converted into a luxury hotel, the Jules Cesar, in the heart of the Roman center of Arles, quickly positioned itself as a prime hotel institution, combining decorative elements of the 18th century as well as contemporary art.
In 2013, the team of Sérénité Luxury Monaco worked with the institution during its major renovation. Thanks to a fruitful collaboration with the prestigious designer Christian Lacroix, the hotel now offers a journey to the past. The renovation was carefully planned, and the ancient monastery has been preserved to give a hint of the life of yesteryear, poetic and creative.
