The Guinness World Record Light Show
——Nanchang “One River, Two Banks” Light Show Project
In this project, all 293 buildings along the two banks of the river put on LED lights and light up simultaneously,
forming a gorgeous lighting belt of 8 km, a Guinness world record of “the most buildings in a permanent
light and sound show” in 2015. The project has run for over 6 years and has been highly recognized by all
sectors of the industry.

Project overview
This project of lighting and upgrading is located between Nanchang Bridge and Bayi Bridge, covering all
revetments and riverside buildings at the east and west banks of Ganjiang River. At the west bank, the project
stretches north-south along the riverside zone of Honggutan New District, starting from the ferris wheel in the
south to China Aviation International Plaza north of Bayi Bridge. The installation sites mainly include the
revetments, Century Square, Ferris Wheel and buildings that can be seen from varied viewpoints along the
river. Among them, buildings with a height of more than 200 m include Xindi Center, International Financial
Center, Lianfa Square, Wall Street Sheraton Hotel, China Aviation International Plaza, etc.
Project effect
The 8-km lighting at the two banks from Nanchang Bridge and Bayi Bridge is designed under the leadership
of the famous French designer Louis Claire who was specially invited by the Owner. The overall lighting effect
has been planned with the coordination of THDLI Inc. The lighting at the west bank, themed "Picture Scroll of
Lights", provides an overall dynamic picture scroll, the first in China.
For the new district, special scenarios such as "Green West Mountain" and "Sunset & Lonely Duck" as well
as the vivid "High Mountains and Flowing Water" have been designed. For the old city on the east bank, the
lighting has featured Tengwang Pavilion, one of the symbols indicating Nanchang as a famous historical and
cultural city. The project has highlighted the core business circle with Tengwang Pavilion and the "Twin
Towers" in the Honggutan Green Belt as the center; the lights on the Pavillion and those on the Towers cooperate
with each other and create a unique night scene of "One River, Two Banks; Pavilion and Towers Shining
Together", a harmonious marriage between history and modern times.
Technical highlights
The linkage display of 293 buildings in this project uses pixel lights as the carrier. EXC-LED, as the only
provider of dynamic lamps for this project, has provided all the required pixel lights. A total of 1.1 million Generation-
3 LED pixel lights were selected. This project has solved the problem of automatic address writing of
large-scale DMX lamps for the first time, and has adopted DMX512 technology, RGBW four primary colors
and other industry leading technologies for the first time on an ultra-large scale.
"Star of Nanchang"
The "Star of Nanchang" Ferris Wheel is located in the Ganjiang Citizen Park by Ganjiang River in Hongjiaozhou,
Honggutan New District. It is 160m high and is a landmark building in Nanchang City. The ferris
wheel uses more than 65,000 EXC-P55AS pixel lights, adopting aluminum profile installation and DMX512
control drive. After all lights are turned on, the whole wheel will become a big colorful clock with a diameter
of 153 meters. Besides, the light pattern is changeable and could be customized on demand, manifesting the
image of Nanchang as a dynamic city in the world.
Double Guinness World Records Light Show Project
——Wenzhou Oujiang River Banks Core Section Nightscape Lighting Project
On the National Day of October 1, 2018, the project officially Started up, for which EXC-LED had provided
nearly 500,000 pixel lights and a 4G city cluster lighting Internet control system. The brilliant animations of
light of shadow presented a beautiful gift for the birthday of New China. On November 8, this night tour
project was granted with two Guinness world records of “largest mountain light show” and “largest light
waterfall”, which were presented by Mr. Blythe, Vice President (Global Business) from the UK Headquarters
of Guinness World Records Limited.

Project overview
This night tour project is one of the supporting projects for Wenzhou to build "Five Development Ecologies", build "an International Smart City of Fashion" and
promote the "Great Construction and Great Beauty". The project was put into trial operation on the National Day and won widespread praise from citizens and
tourists, as well as reports from CCTV and media at all levels. The project starts from the Qidu Bridge in the east and ends at the Dongou Bridge in the west.
The north and south are bounded by the two banks of the Oujiang River. It involves 450,000 ㎡ of building facades on both sides of the Oujiang River, 9.5
million ㎡ of mountain area, 10 km of bridges, really a huge project. Taking the unique mountains, buildings and bridges on both banks of the Oujiang River
as carriers, the lights are employed to interpret Wenzhou's unique magical landscapes and Ouxiu embroidery's humanistic scenes, thus opening up a
brand-new night tour along Oujiang River and creating a new impression of Wenzhou with humanistic feelings and fashionable wisdom.
Theme design
The light show takes shengmelian Mountain on the north bank of 0uiang River as the carier, it is dvided into five chapters:"Home", "city", "Landscape”Businass" and "change". tshows in seres thetrbute to the oeat motherand. the orioin ofwenzhou, ouyue cuure, wenzhou merchants' culure, and the40th anniversary of Reform and Opening-up. The most shocking part, the "world's largest light waterfal!" in the whole ight show, appeared under the themeof "Landscape". The waterfall cascades thousands of miles from the top of the mountain, just like the milky way.

The "ight waterfal" is the bigest bright spot and also the biggest dificuty in the ight show. t is located in a "u" shaped dep canyon between two mountainranges, Most of the mountains are cls, he teraln is very steep and the geoloaical condtions are very complicated. There is no experence in the indusirwhich can be learnt fom. During the construction period, in order to reaize the concept of the "ight waterfal", EXC-LED's technical support personnel, theDesigneT and the Constructor coninuously studied and discussed this prject, and finally solved the terrain-related problem with the mountain's extralongspan drawnet structure. in the whole process from design, construction and operation, EXc-LED always adheres to the principles of minimum damage anmaxmum protecuon.
