Made as a gift to his wife, Helge Sibast designed this side table in the late 1950s. The exact origin and design year is not certain since it was only produced to fit his private home and never sold to the public. The side table was inherited by Helge’s daughter, and later passed on to her son Ditlev Sibast, who gave the table also as a gift to his wife, Anna. Now more than 60 years later, the table is set into production by Sibast Furniture with the purpose of sharing this warm gift and beautiful design.
“It is with great joy and gratitude to my husband’s grandfather that we today have the possibility to pass on this gift from our family design heritage. To share this gift we hope to bring as much joy to others as it has brought to our family” says Anna Sibast.
