What happens when an architect and designer decides to design a stairway made of acrylic? Well, SILLER dares and the result is this piece of surrealism. An unusual way to reach the next level. Or isn’t it the intention behind? A wooden or glass stairway could do it to, couldn’t it? Of course! But it wouldn’t be as exciting and interesting as this acrylic cantilevered stairway.

The stair is covered with a single sheet of glass and finished with a frosted vinyl layer to increase the grip.

Wood is the new black

Our model MISTRAL is a wood stair anyway, but this one has some special details to it. First, the treads are covered with a wood piece cover up the steel joints. Then there is the wooden bar in the eye of the stair, which is illuminated from the core by the night. The structural glass separates the spaces and holds the whole structure.
