Teatro dell’Arte of Triennale

Triennale Museum

Jacopo Foggini, the artist who hypnotises with spectacular creations in methacrylate, and Slamp collaborate to create an impressive chandelier showcased during 2015’s Salone del Mobile. The chandelier, 4 meters in diameter with colours that fade between the tones of white and blue, is part of the Teatro dell’Arte’s large restyling project that Silvana Annicchiarico, director of the Triennale Design Museum, commissioned the artist to create. “The lines are oriented towards the past – says Foggini – but declined in a contemporary material that I normally use in an artistic manner, and Slamp mass produces”. The design of the impressive chandelier, reflecting on a large-scale the cultural, aesthetic and design values of Slamp, is inspired by the style and colours of the original design of Giovanni Muzio, the architect from the 30s who designed the theatre to host performances of experimental art.
