HOW CAN THE NOISE OF KNOCKING TILES BE AVOIDED ON A TERRACE WITH ADJUSTABLE PEDESTALS

A terrace on adjustable pedestals is often associated with knocking tiles. This association has been a thing of the past because SOLIDOR has been looking for several stability solutions over the past few years, which also launched several products

Sticksol

The first product is the top plate Sticksol, which can be used on the Premium and the Comfort range. This patented top plate contains a self-adhesive layer which allows concrete tiles, ceramic tiles as natural stone to be placed on the top plate of the terrace pedestal. The self-adhesive layer allows for 75 percent reduction in the noise of the tiles and also prevents the tiles from knocking.

Structusol

In addition to the Sticksol top plate, SOLIDOR also launched the Structusol range. This range was mainly marketed to facilitate the placement of a terrace with large-format tiles on adjustable pedestals. This range can be used with the Comfort pedestals as with the Premium pedestals. With the full support of the tile that supports on our adjustable pedestal and the aluminum profile, this ensures that the tiles are completely fixed and no more knocking occurs.

EPDM Solid rubber adaptor

Finally, SOLIDOR also has its range of solid rubber adaptors. SOLIDOR marketed the EPDM Solid rubber adaptor which is sound-absorbing and shock-absorbing. It is laid on the top plate which can reduce the sound of knocking. This rubber adaptor is available in three thicknesses such as 1, 2 or 3 mm.
