The architects faced two key challenges: creating a facade resilient to coastal winds and seamlessly blending with the old town's charm. The solution? Ingeniously designed sliding panels that embody both form and function.
Innovative Features, Seamless Experience
These sliding panels, reaching heights of up to 350 cm, boast remarkable stability in windy conditions. Their patented locking mechanism ensures security, while manual operation adds convenience. Crafted from durable materials, they withstand coastal elements with ease.
• Tall and Rigid Panels: Despite their exceptional height of up to 350 cm, the panels' carefully designed construction ensures stability even in windy conditions -160 km/h.
• Unique Locking System for Sliding Panels in Extreme Positions: A patented locking system made of spring steel prevents unintentional opening or closing of the panels due to strong winds. The locks were dimensioned and tested at Soltec to ensure maximum durability and smooth operation.
• Manually Operated Sliding Panels: The comfortable manual operation of the panels allows for easy opening and closing across the entire system of triple rails.
• Materials and Colours for a Coastal Climate: All materials used are resistant to UV rays, saltwater, and temperature extremes. The colour of the sliding panels is carefully chosen to blend harmoniously with the surroundings.
• Panel Clamping for Smooth Operation in a Wide Temperature Range: A specially designed clamping system allows the sliding panels to expand and contract with temperature fluctuations, preventing deformations and ensuring smooth operation.
