Networks are part of life. „Whether they are real connections between people or virtual platforms: networks are booming“, says Tomas Deinböck. In NETWORK, Steuler-Fliesen combines the phenomenon of „being networked“ with natural optics. „Parallel to the technologisation of daily life, more and more people want to return to nature“, ex-plains the Steuler-Fliesen product manager.

Not only in its themes does the tile manufacturer reflect the spirit of our era. The dimensions and production methods used for NETWORK also are in line with the times: the tiles are produced in a conspicuously large square format of 120 x 120 cm – and cut to smaller formats as part of the rectification process. This innovative production method is called „digital dry decoration“. The pattern is not merely applied to the surface but distributed over it in different coloured material masses – which produces a particularly thick, hard and solid-coloured decorative glaze.

The NETWORK also provides an optical surprise with its exceptional graphic pattern. It playfully interprets the „Being networked“ theme. Presenting a reduced, sprayed fabric structure deliberately moulded without sharp contours, it creates a spacious and soft impression. As if tossed on by chance, the net optics lend the tiles a natural and modern finish – thus contributing to a homely urban atmosphere. An atmosphere that reflects a modern way of life: open-minded, creative and exceptional.
