Design hotel in the Italian Alps

Hotel Gartner is opening a new spa house, right in the heart of the Italian Alps and immersed in the beautiful landscape of Merano. Besides a large fitness center and relax area with panoramic view, the hotel offers a new spa area with a Snow Room for the refreshing cool down after the finnish sauna. This innovative concept is enhancing the wellbeing of the guests, but it is also a design highlight for the hotel. Within the all-black design concept of the architects, the snowroom is shining bright and inviting.

Snow is made every night, in order to have soft powder snow every morning. Energy consumption is comparable to a finnish sauna, while a sophisticated heat recovery system can recover the energy to heat the pool.
