BH4 HOTEL, MILAN

TECNOSTRUTTURE

This 94 metre tower hosts Boscolo group's BH4 hotel in Via Stephenson.

It is a 4 star hotel plus 20 floors with about 300 rooms, plus meeting rooms, restaurants and fitness areas, with three underground levels for service and support structures as well as car parks.

PLANNING DETAILS

the project anticipated up to 4 levels of heavy loads for the columns to support. Another critical point arose in the passage of slab reinforcement at the time of installation using columns.

STRUCTURAL SOLUTION

The use of multi-storey PDTI® with windows at the joint allowed for the passage of reinforcement towards the connection. The resistance capacity of the columns further allowed sections to be contained with the advantage of utilising interior spaces better.
