Flower Towers in autumn: the Barwice example
Flower Towers can remain an eye-catching element of public spaces long after summer flowers have faded. With seasonal planting, the same structures take on a completely new autumn character.
In Barwice (Poland), summer flowers have been replaced with pink and white heathers, giving the Flower Towers a fresh seasonal appearance. Planted alternately on each level, the contrasting colours emphasise the tiered structure and create an attractive display in front of the Town Hall.
The same colour palette continues in the surrounding flower beds and smaller planters, where heathers are combined with light-coloured hydrangeas and existing greenery. Repeating the plants and colours across the space creates a cohesive autumn composition and connects the Flower Towers with their surroundings.
Terra Group Flower Towers are designed as a year-round solution for all four seasons, allowing cities to refresh their displays throughout the year without replacing the structures themselves. The Barwice example shows how a simple change of plants can transform summer flower towers into distinctive autumn displays for public spaces.
