Like a majestic ocean liner, Hill Court student hall of residence in Newcastle seems to cut through the sky with its monumental prow. Clad in Terreal yellow-tinted green glazed cladding, this 16,200 m2 structure boldly explores new architectural horizons!
According to Jonathan Mallinson, architect of Hill Court student hall of residence, said: “ Robust, strong and goodlooking… Like many of my colleagues, I really like terracotta because of these natural, intrinsic qualities. There are no nasty surprises with this material and it lets you achieve attractive results really easily. We had a specific colour in mind and Terreal’s R&D team were able to replicate it perfectly."
