Our challenge is to design and manufacture a compact bike shelter that can embody the function while integrating into the existing urban fabric.
Our team was inspired by a Japanese shop to design a shelter where it is possible to safely park your bike while protecting it from the weather. In the Zen spirit, for a perfect balance between design finesse, aesthetics, and manufacturing robustness.
This is a sustainable solution made from sturdy and recyclable materials, to support the development of soft modes of transportation in the city. Its steel structure and wooden cross members allow for securing 6 bikes at 2 points without scratching them.
