TM Italia arrives in St. Petersburg in the prestigious MK Interio space

September 2019 - TM Italia was chosen as the sole kitchen partner for the MK Interio design space in St. Petersburg, located at Mytninskaya Naberezhnaya, 7/5. The showroom is situated in a spacious and bright apartment,

n a building in the historic city centre on the Neva River, and is designed to offer inspirational ambiances for its customers. MK Interio, TM Italia’s partner, has become known as a reference point in the Russian city for

high-end furnishings for demanding and select clientele, due to its professional and refined approach.

TM Italia is featured in the showroom with a linear island kitchen designed by the architects Alexandra Kasakovtseva and Maria Mahonina, the professional duo who are the creative soul of MK Interio.

The neutral colours, selected in cool white tones, are warmed by the light brown of the marble and by the matte gold lacquer used for certain detailing of the grooved handles and for the columns.

For the composition, the T45 bases with glossy brushed Glacier White lacquered finish, with a customised gold finish for the frame and grooves, were chosen.

In addition, for the columns, whose retractable doors feature complex three-dimensional craftsmanship, custom-made on the architects’ design that evokes the soft vertical drapery of precious fabrics, a matte gold finish was chosen that provides the space with a touch of impressive refinement and uniqueness. The white Cambria quartz with thin light grey veins, used for the worktop with integrated basin and flush-mount cooking top, is combined with the light Frappuccino stone with brown veins used instead for the backrest and the overhanging snack counter on the island.

The back of the worktop holds, behind three sliding doors in carefully trimmed light Frappuccino polished stone, a functional and refined pantry with crystal shelving. A solution with a high degree of technical complexity that grants elegance and sophistication to the project.

Every detail of the composition has been designed to enrich the final aesthetics by discreetly hiding the working area and evoking surprise from the perspective of the design solutions. A confirmation of TM Italia’s excellent craftsmanship and production flexibility, even for unique projects, made based on an exclusive design and with an extremely high level of customisation.
