Kitchen with handles
Signature handles, or giving character to the dialogue between individual and furniture.
The kitchen handle has always been a much discussed element of furniture. A component very difficult to design, as it must satisfy a multiplicity of aspects ranging from the ergonomic to the industrial dimension, from functionality to aesthetics.
For decades we have witnessed the progressive desire to hide or eliminate handles in order to reward the absolute aesthetics of the door. On the other hand, in some markets there is still a nostalgic affection for the handle, a tactile amulet that guides our relationship with the product.

TM Italia signature handles
Over time, TM Italia has collected a series of style details, developed for some of her collections and endowed with great character. Kitchen models such as Rua, Miuccia and Avignon or concepts such as Neolite and D90/12 have handles endowed with a great personality guided by the stylistic signature of the authors.
Miuccia model
Ruadelpapavero has developed an important grip system made of 2 mm thick galvanized metal and shaped with a trapezoidal shape.
The handles are designed to be applied both horizontally and vertically, both in line and mirrored. The grip is comfortable and robust, but at the same time endowed with great visual grace and delicacy in terms of thickness.
The Miuccia handles for kitchens are available in the following finishes: Copper, Antique Bronze and Polished stainless steel or other customized lacquering required by the project.
Also for Miuccia, leather handles with metal ends have been designed, combining visual delicacy with tactile warmth and skilled craftsmanship.
Rua model
The handles in the kitchen interpret a more material and decisive feeling. Important thicknesses of 5 mm and a marked verticality, accompanied by a ferromicaceous finish with a three-dimensional effect that gives an interesting tactile feeling.
For the drawers fronts, the Rua model offers a metal handle with the same treatment, but in a recessed mode: the same tactile experience but maintaining great visual essentiality. Rua handles are available in anthracite metal finish or other customized lacquering.
Avignon model
The architect Nicola Gallizia has developed a very elegant grip through a in-depth study of the proportions to give rhythm to the vertical partition respecting precise formal relationships that balance the whole design.
The handle is a tribute to tactility and forces full contact with the material. The handle of the Avignon model is available in the following finishes: all wood essences, metals, stones and lacquers.
Neolite model
This concept developed by the TM Italia research and development department introduces a fully electro-welded metal handle applied on the door. A detail of great value, which accompanies the two retractable doors with an important grip.
The handle of the Neolite model, like every TM Italia concept, is available in all the metal finishes included in the collection: Oxidized steel, Titan, Graphite, Champagne, Brass, Dark bronze, Oxidized copper and Corten.
D90/12TP
This concept developed by the TM Italia R&D team features a gripping solution for the glass doors also welded along its entire length to guarantee formal rigor and the absence of joining elements that could interrupt the refined transparency. A thickness of 0.7 cm allows a solid and comfortable grip.
