Thus, removal of the existing covering is not necessary, even if the moisture content of the substrate exceeds six percent by weight. Since the uncoupling membrane eliminates the time-consuming task of laying a screed, and the resins used are fast-curing, the application time is shorter. In addition, thanks to the layer thickness of approx. one centimetre, the system is also compatible with door elements with low junction heights.
