Warmth and special charm in Rome

The balance between white and beige tones, together with the aesthetic of the wood, achieves in generating warm and cosy sensations

Functional architecture is the best definition for this house situated in Rome, which enhances calmness and serenity in the spaces. A design in which the neutrality of its soft colours encourages people to enjoy some much needed downtime. To carry it out, materials from five of the PORCELANOSA Grupo companies have been used, those companies are: Porcelanosa, Venis, Krion, L’Antic Colonial and Butech.

Clear tones, reliefs and wood textures

The Arizona Caliza collection by Porcelanosa, inspired by natural stone, transmits sobriety to atmospheres, while increasing the luminosity. It is a floor tile in a special format, along with the wall tile from the same series: the Arizona Caliza mosaic. The latter is combined with the Newport Old Natural model by Venis, enhancing the atmospheres with touches of freshness and sophistication through its reliefs and three-dimensional combinations. The Starwood ceramic wood collection is used for the floor tiles, both indoors and outdoors. Its Outdoor technology allows it to be installed on terraces and in gardens, with its physical and functional properties remaining intact when up against adverse weather conditions and the passage of time.

For this house, the Tanzania Wine series has been chosen, which, due to its nuances and tones, manages to fill each room with warmth and naturalness. Airslate Bombay by L’Antic Colonial is another of the elements included in the design. A versatile material with a large 250cm x 120cm size which is only 2cm to 4cm thick. The equipment used in the bathrooms belongs to the Krion RAS collection, which provides functionality combined with a cutting-edge and modern-day design. The furniture and the worktops which go with it, project straight and clean lines which create atmospheres of great beauty and visual homogeneity.

Lastly, Butech has also played its part in this project with the Colorstuck joint material in: beige, ivory, grey; the special Beech finishes and the Pro-Mate decorative profiles as well.
