also known as Calacatta Sunrise, is a classic american marble, quarried in Vermont. This marble is also called Calacatta Sunrise, because of its light grey background and the golden grey veins, which make it look like other historic italian marble extracted in the Carrara quarries. The quarry of Imperial Danby has been operating for more than 100 years, is entirely inside the mountain and reaches almost one mile deep. Imperial Danby was widely used in the State as substitute of italian marbles from Carrara. This marble has a crystalline structure and the slabs usually need at least one resin processing, in order to increase the structural strength by fixing some natural defects and enhancing the brightness. The beautiful veins of Calacatta Sunrise allows the book-matched use of the slabs. is an historic italian marble, extracted in the upland plain with the same name. This marble has been widely used in the past in the local buildings, such as churches and villas. Verdello Asiago is characterised by a soft green color, with many veins similar to those of Bianco Perlino and Rosa Perlino which are extracted in the same mountains. Another characteristic of Verdello Asiago is the presence of some dark green stains, casually distributed on the surface of the slabs. Blocks of low height are produced in the quarries, and usually cut in the sense of the vein. Verdello Asiago is a marble by the strong structure suitable for indoor and outdoor uses. The best finishings for this marble are undoubtedly the honed and brushed, while because of its particular structure the polished finishing is not suggested. or Red Asiago is the most important marble extracted from the quarries of the Asiago mountains, in the North of Italy. It is an historic marble characterised by the deep red colour and the thick veins. On the Asiago mountains there are several quarries which have a good production of blocks. Various qualities of Rosso Asiago are identified depending on the location of the quarry and on the quarried layer among which there are Rosso Asiago Broccato, Rosso Asiago Fiorito and Rosso Asiago Magnaboschi. Rosso Asiago vein cut comes from the cut of blocks in the sense of the vein. This kind of cut is the most frequent because of the modest height of most of the blocks. The slabs have a good color consistency and tones which vary between red and brown.
