Why choose LED lighting for outdoor use?
ACTiLED Lighting designs and manufactures high-performance, customized LED solutions that are suitable for both new lighting installations and the modernization of existing outdoor lighting.
Retrofitting, or relamping, allows you to modernize a lighting system by replacing obsolete, defective, or energy-intensive light sources, such as halogen, compact fluorescent, metal halide, or high-pressure sodium (HPS) lamps.
LIGHTING MAST: the waterproof, reliable, and durable lighting solution
Mast lights are widely used in various outdoor environments (street lighting, parks, ports, airports, sports stadiums, etc.).
They are chosen for their height, their ability to spread light over large areas, and their aesthetic appeal.
For this lighting project, innovative, custom-designed poles were installed in the Breton port. Their originality lies in a scalable lighting system capable of changing the color of the light according to the tide level:
Low tide: neutral white light
High tide: warm white light
Equinox tide: intense blue light at the top of the mast
To make this variation possible, ACTiLED Lighting developed custom LED tubes incorporating three light channels—warm white, cool white, and blue—controlled via a DALI-compatible power supply, enabling precise and dynamic lighting control.
