Lighting at the service of architecture

Modern LED lighting transforms the perception of heritage by combining technological discretion with visual precision. More than just illumination, it is a respectful staging that highlights the strong lines of a building without altering its structure.

This expertise comes into its own at the Chapel in Pontenx-les-Forges, where lighting designer Vincent Dechaene has enhanced the work “Aurore” by artist Ladislas Combeuil. To magnify this mashrabiya covering the ceiling, ACTiLED Lighting deployed customized backlighting solutions: ultra-thin tubular luminaires with a diameter of only 20 mm. These compact and discreet light sources use a narrow 30° beam to focus the light on specific areas, revealing the complex contours of the work with a color temperature of 3000K, ensuring perfect color accuracy. Sustainable innovation is at the heart of the project thanks to eco-designed and repairable products using 230V direct technology without a driver. This chained tubular system simplifies installation while offering exemplary durability for this artistic and architectural intervention.
