Formwork for stairs
Arbloc has introduced a complex design into production that allows the development of three-dimensional shapes based on drawings with precision that are difficult to achieve with traditional wood carpentry.
From the computer-developed three-dimensional model, we move on to the transformation of the expanded polystyrene using CNC milling machines and faithfully respecting the geometries.
The result is a formwork that allows the company to create a uniform pour of concrete in the thickness of the steps and the helical plane.
The constancy of the concrete thickness of the staircase body is guaranteed both internally and externally, from departure to arrival, respecting the dimensions of the project.
Polystyrene liners are chosen based on site and project requirements.
Each supply is made to measure taking into account the design, the site requirements and the designer's expectations.
The formwork is made of pieces to facilitate handling on site. Each element groups 2 or 3 platform-level steps.
The lateral guides are made on request otherwise we proceed with a traditional wooden joinery made up of vertical bars. This operation is facilitated because the polystyrene has a marking on the risers.
The sides supplied by Arbloc can be of 2 types:
- Non-structural consisting of a shaped slab which is supported by a wooden joinery. Acts as a face-to-face guide.
- Structure composed of polystyrene and boards on which the riser panel can be screwed directly.
