The nursery house of Ettelbruck, Luxembourg, a full-scale children’s nursery
Originality at every level
It is the Luxembourgers architects from « Architecture et Environnement », close to sustainable issues, who led this transformation project from a youth hostel to a nursery house in Ettelbruck.
Following the landform, the stucture is appearing all vertically with stairs as a spine.
The wish was to open towards outside to enable an inside-outside link ; some generous terraces are then roaming the façade. It will be vegetalized, thereafter, in order to reflects the greenness of the past hill. The set of hot-lacquered and varnish planters have been manufactured by ATECH. A bespoke conception which testifies of the international perspective of the company through wide-ranging vegetalization projects.
This achievement signed « AE » is engaged in an environmental respect through its materials, its isulation, its sun exposure and its green roof.
