When greening takes over Paris roofs

Develop greening on rooftops in cities is a concept that is increasingly being applied. In a context of global warming, the importance of greening cities is a key factor for the environment.

Both design and ecological, the green roof allows Man and Nature to cohabit, and it also helps to fight against urban heat islands.

The greening project for this rooftop included several areas to be landscaped. First of all, ATECH designed and produced several bespoke planters in painted aluminium, for greater lightness and malleability of the material. In order to take a break from the vegetation, the planters are accompanied by seats made of Robinia wood.

In addition to the greening of the roof terrace, a painted steel pergola was designed to create a convivial space, all in a pleasant setting for lunch.

The objective of this project was to install greening on this rooftop and thus offer a green bubble, as well as a place of exchange and sharing to its users.

This project was once again made possible by Jardins de Gally, a landscape company that cultivates nature in the heart of cities.
