Bacacier are people from Clermont-Ferrand in France, who came to see me one day to ask : What could we do?

Because the cladding, that''s still a really good idea. We didn''t change the machines or the steel strips. We didn''t change anything. That we changed was the viewing angle. We changed the imagination, we changed the project, we asked ourselves : “what if, ultimately, cladding at the same price, for the same use, and maybe we''ll even return to two or three major uses, what if suddenly, we could be proud of it?”

We worked on it for a long time, we spent several years on it. And we also thought about it from all angles; we said to ourselves “right, this is good, the building is done, it''s wonderful. It looks like a Haute Couture showroom in Japan. You could say it''s worth 100 times what it would actually cost… Bu the details, the doors, the windows frames, the signs, the plant pots, everything… So, we had thought about nearly every detail and this will continue to produce buildings that are even more personal, of even better quality, even more consistent and, above all, even more creative, thanks to the architects.

So this BACACIER range is a small step for steel strip, but it''s a large step for cladding. But, above all, it''s a giant leap for us, for our landscapes, for our towns and for what is known as environmental protection.”
