New product and collaboration with Australian company launched by BERA in Europe!

BERA introduce another product for water saving making use of capillary rise. The reservoir ‘feet’ are filled with 2-4mm grains of Perlite what is used as the medium enhancing aeration and delivering moisture to the soil for 30-35cm upwards. Roots will take up water and nutrients, only to their own needs.

How the BERA WaterUps Planters & Tree Reservoir™ works?

The innovative wicking system provides an underground reservoir of water for young plants and trees so they will always have a regular supply of moisture at a depth of 30-35cm below the roots, encouraging roots down away from surface water.

The submerged underground reservoir is not affected by evaporation or surface level seepage, therefore the water lasts longer, requiring less watering. WaterUps wicking solutions have been developed and tested since 2016 in a wide range of systems and solutions for gardens, landscaping, nurseries and city farming.
