Bogarel offers a range of cat furniture made by French and Italian craftsmen. Each piece is handmade with exceptional craftsmanship, reflecting the desire to offer objects that are both aesthetically pleasing, beneficial to cats and environmentally friendly.

For their first collection of cat trees, award-winning designer Sacha Lakic has chosen natural European materials such as wicker, solid ash, cork and chromed steel. The wicker spheres are meticulously hand-woven by basket weavers in Haute-Marne, France, perpetuating an age-old skill handed down from generation to generation. For each Bogarel handcrafted cat tree, the braiding process takes around 6 hours and requires 5 to 10 years' experience to achieve perfect mastery of the braiding techniques.

The natural wooden cat trees in the collection are made by a French woodturner, a rare skill passed down from generation to generation. The solid ash wood comes from PEFC-certified French forests, guaranteeing sustainable management of forest resources.

The cork cat trees are made from cork half-spheres sourced from the "La Dehesa" protected forest in Portugal, where cork oaks are grown every 10 years to preserve the ecosystem. These half-spheres are handmade in Italy by craftsmen specialising in top-of-the-range furniture. Cork offers lightness and modern aesthetics to cat trees, and is also FSC-certified, guaranteeing responsible management of forest resources.
