Bottega Veneziana for Murano by Ferraro

From Venice to Miami — Poliedri CR Chandeliers for Luxury Hospitality

Bottega Veneziana signs the lighting design for Murano by Ferraro, a new Italian fine dining restaurant in Hallandale Beach, Miami.
A project that tells the story of the encounter between Venetian glassmaking tradition and a contemporary interior design concept, conceived for a high-end dining space. It stems from the collaboration with Santo Passaia, entrepreneur in the world of luxury furnishing and head of the Passaia company, who oversaw the production of the bespoke furniture, helping to shape a cohesive, elegant and distinctive environment.
Within this design framework, the custom lighting installation comprises 5 Poliedri CR chandeliers and 8 Astoria wall sconces, conceived to integrate with the interior architecture and define its character.
The Poliedri CR are Déco-style chandeliers, entirely handcrafted in the Bottega Veneziana furnace using traditional Venetian glassmaking techniques. The modular crystal elements, worked as flat plates in a hexagonal shape, are arranged on staggered planes, generating an asymmetric movement and a continuous play of reflections. The brass finish completes a bold, scenographic profile.
The Astoria wall sconces, also Déco in style, feature crystal Murano glass with small square motifs and a burnished internal mounting with an antique effect, creating a more intimate and subdued lighting counterpoint.
Both models are customisable in size, colours and finishes, to meet the specific requirements of any project.
Proportions, light output and scenographic impact have been calibrated to the space, in dialogue with custom furnishings and finishes. The result is an installation that goes beyond illumination, contributing to define the identity and atmosphere of the restaurant.
