Cersaie 2024 - Concept by Casalgrande Padana: the cutting-edge heart of porcelain stoneware
Concept is a new porcelain stoneware collection with a modern character, in which the patterns are highlighted and enhanced by distinctive material details.
Simple, austere and chic, with a new, modern edge, concrete steps back into the forefront of design. Soft, cloudy effects in neutral shades, with subtle dashes of colour, are the signature feature of the new Concept porcelain stoneware tile collection, with a nod to the metropolitan style that in recent years has strongly impacted the world of architecture and interior decor. A journey through design, in which the flow of the matter stimulates and develops creativity and rewrites a whole new architectural language ready to interpret the changing needs of contemporary projects. A versatile, adaptable collection with a cutting-edge spirit, ready to shape the matter and take architectural spaces into a new dimension.
Concept comes in seven subtle shades (Concept Black, Blue, Green, Greige, Grey, White and Red) and includes a 23.5x20.5 cm hexagonal tile. The tiles have a thickness of 9 mm in the 20x20 cm and 30x30 cm sizes, with an R10 natural surface able to combine a superbly pleasant tactile sensation with the technical characteristics required by the world of international design; the 30x60 cm and 60x60 cm tiles are available in R10 natural, polished and anti-slip bush-hammered surfaces, while the 60x120 cm size comes in R10 natural, satin, polished and anti-slip surfaces, and the 120x120 cm size in R10 natural, satin and polished surfaces.
Lastly, in the colours Black and Grey and in the sizes 60x120 cm and 60x60 cm, Concept comes in a thickness of 20 mm with an anti-slip surface for use outdoors. The tiles can either be laid directly on turf, sand or gravel to create flooring that can be walked on immediately, or glued on screed or placed on raised supports to allow for the installation of electrical and plumbing systems.
The range is completed with a 20x20 cm decorative element featuring low-relief abstract geometric patterns, a 30x30 cm mosaic tile with 5x5 cm or 5x15 cm tesserae and a ribbed decorative element in the 60x120 cm size, available in all the colours in the collection. These decorative details are able to embellish and enhance living spaces, bringing character and personality to the entire setting.
The balanced design allows this porcelain stoneware collection to bring a touch of elegance to residential living spaces, shaping an inviting, original, exclusive or more casual atmosphere. Like all Casalgrande Padana porcelain stoneware collections, Concept is composed of natural raw materials. The tiles are eco-compatible, ecological, fire-resistant, non-absorbent, antibacterial and self-cleaning (thanks to the Bios Ceramics) technology. They are also easy to lay and to clean.
