With its simple, pure elegance, Piasentina stone is a noble material with a long history. Popular with architects, it has featured in important monumental works since Roman times, and sophisticated creativity and careful research have now brought it back to life in the Cosmo collection of porcelain stoneware tiles. Join us on a journey right to the heart of the original stone, for a new take on its essential features, expressive material allure, warm tactile and visual sensations, subtle veining patterns and shades of colour shaped by nature through the centuries.
Cosmo comes in four colours (Cosmo Beige, Greige, Tabacco and Tortora), in a thickness of 9 mm for the 30x60 cm and 60x60 cm tiles with an anti-slip bush-hammered surface and in the new R10 natural finish, able to combine a pleasant tactile sensation with excellent technical characteristics, in the 60x120 cm size with a natural, satin and bush-hammered surface, and in the 120x120 cm size with an R10 natural surface, as well as a satin surface designed to guarantee a soft feel and a natural material look.
In the colours Beige, Greige and Tortora and in the sizes 60x60 cm and 60x120 cm, Cosmo is available with a thickness of 20 mm with an anti-slip surface; these two characteristics make it suitable for use outdoors, either glued to screed for tiling balconies, patios, terraces, verandas or pool edges, or laid directly on turf, gravel or sand to create practical walkways you can walk on immediately. In keeping with current trends, this allows for a seamless indoor-to-outdoor look, for coordinated decor solutions that are supremely practical and comfortable all year round.
The range is completed with 30x30 cm mesh-backed mosaic tiles with 5x5 cm and 5x15 cm tesserae, and a tumbled mosaic tile, available in all the colours in the collection.

Like all the Casalgrande Padana porcelain stoneware collections, Cosmo is eco-compatible, fire-resistant, non-absorbent and antibacterial. It is also self-cleaning (thanks to the Bios Ceramics technology, available on request), maintains its appearance unaltered over time, and is resistant to thermal shock, heavy foot traffic, salty sea air and abrasion, as well as being easy to lay and clean.
