The authentic essence of the stone springs to life today in Orobica, the new porcelain stoneware collection by Casalgrande Padana that enhances its authentic appeal with impressive technical performance and a contemporary design language. The material quality of the range embodies the close relationship between the natural stone and the landscape, highlighting its rich, glowing, layered beauty, with random inclusions that make each surface unique.
Orobica comes in four colours (Cenere, Gesso, Perla and Sabbia), in a 90x90 cm size with a thickness of 9 mm and a natural surface. The 120x120 cm, 60x120 cm, 60x60 cm and 30x60 cm sizes are available with either a natural or a bush-hammered surface. In addition, the 20 mm thickness option with a bush-hammered anti-slip finish, available for the 60x120 cm, 60x60 cm and 90x90 cm sizes, in the colours Cenere and Sabbia, makes the tiles in this new collection particularly versatile for an attractive, smooth transition between interiors and outdoor areas, with details that come together to create an exclusive, immersive ambience.
The range also includes decorative tiles, available in all the collection colours in the sizes 60×120 cm and 29×39 cm, designed to enhance the surfaces with their textures and geometries. Elevated to an architectural element, the tiles harmonise with surrounding surfaces to define the character of living spaces.
Compact, durable and non-absorbent, the tiles are resistant to abrasion, heat, fading, frost, humidity and salty sea air. This makes the Orobica collection ideal for a wide range of applications. It can be used on floors and walls both indoors and outdoors, and slots effortlessly into décor styles that range from country and Provençal to shabby chic and Mediterranean. It’s equally suitable for more contemporary, minimalist looks, to create an elegant, sophisticated aesthetic.
