SHOJI
A collection of double fired tiles entirely
handmade on a matt background. Available in
eight colours in the 20x60 cm size, with a
thickness of 9 mm. The range is completed with a
decorative anodised aluminium trim with a
brushed titanium finish, ideal to enhance the wall
covering with horizontal and vertical lines. Size
1.5x270 cm.
Shoji
Pure colour, applied with long overlapping brush
strokes, adds motion to surfaces with an
alternation of thickness and transparency. Fine
metal trim frames large tiles to add a touch of
rhythm and seventy to spaces. What comes to
mind is the hand of an artist in search
of inspiration, a work in progress in which
glimpses of the weave of the fabric are left
visible. But the whole opens the door to the
rarefied atmospheres of traditional Japanese
interior architecture, to the infinite sequence of
thin dividing walls. It's hard not to envy Shoji's
simple perfection, revealed in its every
performance.
