Catino 80: the evolution of an icon
There are those who create objects and those who craft languages.
A natural evolution of the I Catini collection – and a manifestation of the Be Iconic concept – Catino 80 expands the dialogue between graphic design and function, consolidating a vision in which the washbasin establishes itself as the focal point of the bathroom space, transcending its primary function. The design stands out for its rectangular shape and the large lateral shelf that seamlessly integrates into the distinctive metal frame, creating a sophisticated balance between visual lightness and structural solidity. The proportions are expanded, offering new compositional possibilities and greater freedom of use.
In this project, versatility is at the heart of the system: beneath the washbasin is an open shelf, available in ceramic or marble, enhancing the material’s appeal, or a suspended drawer that offers discreet, integrated storage. Each configuration is designed to blend harmoniously with the space, maintaining formal coherence and stylistic identity.
As with the entire collection, the project bears the signature of Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano and reflects Ceramica Cielo’s vision: a design that combines craftsmanship, innovation, and colour research, creating products capable of defining spaces with elegance and personality.
Catino 80 is not merely an extension of the range, but a further step in the development of a recognisable aesthetic, in which every element contributes to creating harmonious, sophisticated, and profoundly contemporary environments.
